As of January 1, 2017, Vermont has increased the hourly minimum wage to $10.00 per hour. This is an increase over the previous year’s minimum wage of $9.60.
We ask and remind all our clients to check their payroll to ensure all employees are at minimally $10.00 per hour.
This is part of Vermont’s plan to increase the minimum wage to $10.50 by January 1, 2018 and index it to inflation as of January 1, 2019.
